Summer in the South West
A few weeks in August spent between, Somerset, Dorset and Devon. A lot of cream teas, fish and chips, ice cream, and crab sandwiches were consumed. All completely justifiable due to the amount of sea swimming and walking we did - along coastal paths, beaches, and moorland, the landscape changing dramatically over each county border. It was blissful and I felt lucky to be out of London, in the rugged depths of Dartmoor or standing on a Dorset clifftop looking out to sea. A revitalising break from city life, the change in scenery allowing a renewed burst of inspiration and energy. I felt ready to come back to the studio, sun kissed and brimming with ideas.
