Ellen Mae Williams x The Edition 94

I have partnered with homeware store The Edition 94 for London Craft Week 2021. From Monday 4th to Friday 8th October, a collection of naturally-dyed textiles made exclusively for The Edition 94 will be exhibited at their store in Chelsea, London.

These interior textiles are available to buy throughout the week, each unique piece made from linen and produced using sustainable and traditional textile methods with an array of natural dyes. A collection of napkins, tablecloths and an antique French linen wallhanging.

The philosophy behind the work is to reflect the natural landscape, keeping aesthetics simple yet thoughtful – letting the haphazard beauty of natural dyeing and mark making emerge. These pieces are inspired by the change from late summer to early autumn, the dappled light cast by the sun through branches, dancing shadows, golden hour, leaves turning to bronze, ochre and rust, bruised berries from hedgerows, a palette of mauve, deep purple, mustard and forest green. Each tablecloth and napkin within the collection is one-off and have been naturally dyed and hand painted on 100% linen.
